30 Mar New Book Exposes HubSpot as Less than Utopia
Wow. I can tell you from first-hand experience working for an SaaS company in Boca Raton, FL, I happened to have had an amazing time with HubSpot. I’m a fan of the publishing platform and the onboarding teleconferences were fantastic and fun. I loved the contact I had there and secretly dreamed of teleporting back to my hometown of Boston/Cambridge. He made it fun with his tales of Pizza Fridays! And tragically unhip dodgeball teams!
Welp, a first-hand account from a man, a veteran journalist, no less, Dan Lyons, is available in old-fashioned book-form, April 5th, entitled: “Disrupted: My Misadventure in the Start-Up Bubble.” Like all good start-up tales, there’s a stuffed monkey in attendance during meetings. Crazy kids! What will they think of next?
Cults? Extortion? Hacking? Oh my!
I’m certainly putting it on my book list. You should too. Get the gist of it here, in this VentureBeat article by Ken Yeung.
